What it is
Vitamin B12 is an essential vitamin found mainly in animal foods. The body needs it to make red blood cells, keep nerves healthy and build DNA.
What it does in Memoclear
B12 covers nerve function in the Memoclear formula. Nerves are coated in a fatty sheath that B12 helps maintain, and B12 is involved in how cells use energy. It is not a memory herb; it is a basic nutrient that many adults fall short on.
What the research says
The NIH Office of Dietary Supplements notes that B12 absorption falls with age and that a meaningful share of adults over 50 have low or borderline levels. Low B12 is linked to fatigue, tingling and memory complaints, and correcting a deficiency helps those symptoms. Taking extra B12 when your levels are already normal has not been shown to improve memory.
Who should be careful
B12 is water-soluble and extra amounts are passed in urine, so it is considered safe at supplement doses. If you have unexplained fatigue or memory complaints, ask your doctor for a B12 blood test rather than assuming a supplement will fix it.
Where it sits in the formula
Vitamin B12 works alongside the other five ingredients: Ginkgo Biloba, Huperzia Serrata, Phosphatidylserine, Bacopa Monnieri, N-Acetyl L-Carnitine. Together they cover blood flow, brain cell walls, memory messengers, nerve function and cell energy in one daily capsule.
